Why are you searching NBR for your laptop's drivers? Your manufacturer's website should provide you with x64 drivers for your hardware, assuming they support 64-bit Vista for that model.

:) I meant searching for links to the 64 bit drivers. asus website only has 32 bit drivers. just like the drivers for xp the links I got here, since asus website and cd only provides drivers for vista 32bit. of course some of the vista 32bit drivers will work on vista 64bit, just want the correct ones to eliminate trial and error :) by the way this is for asus m50.

I'm running Vista 64 on my M50. I also used the driver disk for most of the devices, without any problem. I'd also recommend (if not already done) using the following to get the video drivers up to scratch:

    http://www.laptopvideo2go.com/ - For Nvidia
    http://www.driverheaven.net/modtool.php - For ATI

Using the most recent Realtek 64 (sound) drivers off Realtek's site is recommended. This will also help with the HDMI switching problem.

And last but not least use the Vista Codec Pack ( http://shark007.net/) with the 64bit components. This will help any codec compatibility issues and the issue with 64bit Media Center as it will not use 32bit codecs.

    Hope this helps,

Looks like the new ATI Catalyst 8.6 drivers have support for the HD 3650. So there should be no need to use the mod tool for the drivers.

64 bit driver video and audio are usually less issue... the headache are the wireless console, power to go, BT, finger print support for 64 bit especially for ASUS because they dont have those driver to support 64 bit on their AE notebook.
