    A while back I heard that there was going to be a refresh of the W1N coming out some time soon. I was just wondering if there is any information on what the new system will entail, the possible price, and projected release date for the US.

    Thanks alot for any help you can give me, I've been looking at the z71v but may wait for this if its comparable.

    It's still at least a month away... the W2 is probably 3 weeks away, and the W1 should show up a couple weeks after it does....

    Similiar to what's going to be in the W2.

    128mb x700 graphics
    2.0 ghz cpu
    1gb ddr2
    80gb/5400rpm hard drive
    tv tuner

    Asus still, for whatever reason hasn't put an absolute confirmation on this unit yet.... We're waiting for that before we make the W2 page public........ I don't want to set up a certain hard drive or something and find out they ended up having to get something else..... Still waiting on that. I believe we only have 50 units coming in.... We'll certainly let everyone know.

    I don't know, but I'm going to assume it will at this point...... They do want to keep it marginally different from the W2 (even though most of the specs will be the same), but the black anodized is their new 2005 flare.... I know that's how they WANT to order it, but we'll see if they are given that as an option.

    That's not known at this time........ I'm thinking they might go that route because they do want to put the tv tuner in the new W1.... but right now it's an X factor bacically..... just have to wait and see what they end up ordering.
