so i recently invested in the awesome looking w2j and now i need something to protect it in. PREferably somethin i could also carry books in because i will be going off to collge soon i was looking at some timbuk2 but im not sure if itll fit, but you guys have any suggestons?

Well, I like the carrying case included with the w2j. It's quite slim (for a 17"), so you can fit the w2j and some cables. Books won't fit anymore, maybe some notes. If I were you I would get a backpack, cause carrying the laptop and the books will become quite heavy in a shoulderbag if you have to move around a lot. Maybe a sleeve for the laptop and a regular backpack.
Can't help you with brands though. Don't have any experience. -
yeah i definitely looking at a backpack and do bags still come with the w2j i thought is aw it didnt anymore

european version does. I don't know about the US. The resellers on the forum should know.

As you can see proportable mentioned that the prices dropped because these added extras were not included with North American ASUS Laptop.
Thanks,

its always nice to have a case come with, i mean that way u dont have to go out and buy another one and make sure it fits well, sure its not for everyone, but ppl that dont really need a customized case and such, it would be nice!
