    What are you trying to do with the stand, just get the laptop off the desk, cool it down, get a better angle on the keyboard?

    I just made my own (I had someone bend it for me)

    just a piece of aluminum, bend in a U-shape. So now my screen is placed at an ergonomical height.
    I should give it a treatment to give it a brushed aluminum look, but I don't know how
