Hey guys, I was wanting to know what yall think. I currently have an 8 lb beast of a Dell Inspiron 5150. I was looking for something smaller and lighter, but still good for occassional gaming. Basically what I'm asking is this: is the w3j worth the extra 1lb for a better graphics card and slightly bigger screen? Will I even notice a difference between the 2 compared to the dell?

Go for a W3J. Maybe consider even a 15.4". The W3J is 5.5 lbs, most 15.4" can be 6lbs in size... A 15.4" is much better, you'd really appreciate the larger screen in gaming, removes a lot of eye strain and they tend to have much beter cooling.

Definately dont go for the W7J unless you're going to be gaming 1-2hrs/week at the most.

I think it just depends on what you need.

If you want to play the latest games, then W3J is the way to go. But if you just play some old games, and a few new games, I think the W7J will be great value when it comes out.

Yea, depends on what you're gonna play. Oblivion? Definitly need the w3j. Just WoW? You could get buy with a w7j.

if you dont need the compact size of the w7. Then the w3j is the better deal.

I find the W7j to be one of the best deals/packages out there... it looks great, performs great, and it has a built in camera. Sure it's not a gaming machine... but then again, you're going to be on a 13.3" screen... so who would want to do "hardcore gaming" on such a small screen anyway? For $300 less than the W3J... I would go with the W7.

If your want great portability with all-in-one features, you should definitely consider W7J. I, in particular, like the built-in camera.

    I'm reffering to this:

Oh wait.. Now it sounds like he meant another 15". I would like a 15" But I can't think of a 15" that's featurewise as good as the W3J.. :(

Yeah, I think mystery was just trying to compare the weight of W3J to a 15.4" there...

    For 15.4" with features of W3J... How bout the S96J / Z96J ? ... or the not yet available V1J :)
