    i need to find the serial number on the back of my laptop but cuz im an IDIOT im havin trouble finding it...im use to seeing serial numbers after "S/N" but all i see is numbers and i dnt kno which one is the right one...plz help...need to activate my warranty

    It should be on the Windows XP sticker, after the header "Product Key: ".

    It's the most colorful sticker on the laptop belly, can't miss it. The rest are all white/grayish.

    On the bottom, there should be a sticker with a bar code, your warranty status(12 months) and then the S/N should be there.

    on the front of laptop i have a sticker with all specs it says the global warranty 12 months then underneath that in the bottom right corner there is a 12 digit number....as for on the BACK i see the sticker u are talking about and its also a 12 digit number but its a different number then the one on the front....lol which one is it??? put it this way....wat do s/n usually start wit...the one in the front starts it 15G10N........and so on...and the one on the back starts with 68NOAP......and so on

    whoops sorry about that I didn't read carefully and thought you meant the windows serial.

    The serial number is on a white sticker on the bottom of the computer, near the model number (eg W3***J or something like that) and the barcode.

    I don't know about the one on the front of the computer... go for 68NOAP, that's probably it.

    Ed, you bought that unit from us if I'm not mistaken. Your serial number is listed on the invoice that came with your shipment.
