    w3j, is the 1600 hdcp?

    what the topic says. I am considering picking up the xbox360's hddvd drive and running it thorugh my laptop, but I am wondering if it is going to drop my res on me. Also the w3j only has vga out, can I still get 1080p over that if my monitor is also hdcp?

    if it only has VGA out I doubt it's HDCP. I thought HDCP video cards were new in the current gen...

    But I think it actually only applies to TVs. You can watch it no problem on your computer.

    kinda, from what I understand you need a certified player (computers gpu in this case, and I thought that the x1000 series was certified), tv/monitor and a certified connection <- that is where I am confused
