Just wondering... how does the w3v's mic work? I haven't had a chance to use it yet... is there something to turn it on or is it always on?

And do you just use it for audio conversations w/ msn and etc. or can it record lectures or music?

It seems to be always on, I use it with yahoo messanger to talk to people. I don't think it could record a lecture or music, but it works well if you sit infront of it and talk.

In a meeting you could pair it with a software like OneNote to record voice along with your notes.

OneNote is far from a free download..... you might be able to try out a demo, but I don't think so. I use it with my tablet a lot and it's honestly a great program for jotting down handwritten notes and voice as well.
