Since I got my W3V I've been having problems using both optical bay battery and the main battery at once. Whenever the optical bay would run out of power it won't switch over to the main battery properly. Instead my machine blacks out and has an unresponsive power button.

I am not sure what the problem is. I've ran both batteries individually, and they work fine. They both charge to 100% and are useable to the very last drop of power they give. I've also tried not using certain software, such as centrino hardware control, the same thing still happens.

Any suggestions? Do I have a bad battery? If I do, which one?

Tim - After you formatted it out you're still having the problem? If so, I told you to call Asus up because something's seriously wrong and we couldn't help you (thats me, my company and this forum) .... Asus will clear that up ASAP for you.
