    w3v hard replace

    is there just one screw to take off the hard drive cover for replacement ? I cant seem to find any assembly diagrams on net for the w3v. thanks

    If you have a W3 and you can't find the cover on the bottom for the hard drive, I suggest you don't bother mesing around with it...... There is a cover with 1 screw that looks like it's the size of a hard drive....... it's got a nice rubber foot on it..... that's it.

    ok thanks . I removed the screw earlier but cover with the foot on it didnt seem to come off easily thats why i posted to ask. didnt want to force it.

    Thats right its not easy to remove. You have to put some might into it or rub it gently and whisper in its ear. I hear the second has an effect with dead pixels.
