    I been trying to figure out how to install the second chip of ram for my w3v. I took off the 2 screws marked K because I figured it meant keboard but I dont know how to get the darn keyboard off. Can anyone tell me how to correctly install the second stick of ram? thanks in advance

    Umm...

    You just flip the W3V around, take off the lid with 6 screws or the Windows XP sticker and just put in the RAM. You're trying access the RAM that's included with the W3V.

    ok I should have clarified that I have already installed a stick into the free slot I want to replace the ram that came with the w3v. I dont know how to go about doing this.

    hey do a search in this forum because i posted a link a long time ago that showed exactly how to do the RAM install. it has pictures for every step. i started the thread so look for my user ID when you do the search. cheers!

    Thanks a bunch!! I was unscrewing all kindas of crap because I couldnt find those 3 keyboard latches, I'll try it out as soon as I get home. THanks AGAIN!

    the w3v section on the asus site does show how to access the 'main' memory.
