    hey, so i checked and my optical dvd drive is a matsh!ta uj831D. I wanted to know what formats the drive is able to write in so i googled it and it returned nothing. So anyone know?

    Here you go..... these specs are good for the toshiba, panasonic and pioneer drives we have.... that uj831d would be commonly considered a pansonic in north america.
