    I know technically it's supposed to be a factory sealed machine and customers shouldn't be messing with it-blah-blah but my warranty expired so meh :p

    I thought I had a problem with my LCD, but after a little more thought I'm almost positive its a problem somewhere further down the line..like the inverter or the video card. I've already taken a look at the inverter and it *looks* fine so I might as well check the x600.

    I think it would help a lot if I could at least see the damage if there is any...I just don't know where to look. I was following the diagrams for the z63a before, but it only has integrated graphics so not helping me here.

    I remember there was a guide here for disassembling an asus w3.

    yea i googled and saw a few forum posts here and on others talking about some sort of guide but all the links are dead :eek:
