This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     w5/w5000 series..VISTA success? I have the Final Ultimmate version but I'm leary

    So,............I almost did it but ran the Vista self check to see a decent amount of potential issues. The main one Im not sure i can deal with is what seems to be the Bluetooth Stack conflict. I searched the forum but see some vague reference to it here and there.

    Has anyone successfully been able to upgrade to Vista and avoid the Bluetooth issue or find a workaround? Asus's website doesnt seem to have any Vista drivers yet on it for the w5/5000 series.

    For the record, my copy of Ultimate is legit so MS Wesite Update isnt a problem to me. I'm on the TechNet program so I have good/legit copies of the software.

    I know Aero wont work on the w5 but Im OK with that......
