Okay I have been hearing on several posts about w7j owners experiencing this light/dark issue with their screen, especially at lower brightness settings, where one side of the screen is darker or lighter than the other. For any w7j owners out there or anyone who has personally played with a w7j, what is your take on this?

I can only tell on the LOWEST brightness setting but it doesn't bother me since mine is always on max.

Hmmm so are you saying the w3j has it too? Isn't this a V-Cut issue? I didn't know the w3j had V-cut.

You can see it once you get below 10-20 %. I ve seen the batches and do recall seeing it at first at 5% then once a bit higher. See my video of the w7 and the z35. Same screen at 100% brightness there are no issues.

I see it at all brightness settings, but it's not that bad.

Noticeable on all settings, but especially on low settings and worst on the lowest setting.

So for all you people who do notice it on high brightness, is it something that bothers you? Although it might not be a problem for me as my left eye is dimmer than my right eye

So is this a problem that should prevent me from buying this laptop? I was about to purchase one this week.
