It doesn't look like the camera can rotate on the W7J. The camera on the W5 can rotate 180 degrees.

The camera doesn't rotate...... one of the big things on the W5 that certain people didn't like was the big camera on the top.... well that was so it could rotate. The W7's doesn't. I'd suggest if you want to record lectures at school, get a W5, but you have to keep in mind this is a webcam and the camera lense is small...... low light conditions aren't going to be good for it to begin with.... I'm not sure how your lectures are usually set up, but if it's dark all the time, it'll be no good to you.

you might want to consider getting a usb portable webcam which gives you the option of getting a higher resolution and can be rotated in any direction you like.

hmm .. i dont want to look like some loser with a external webcam on my desk at the same time.. kinda of a weird picture if you ask me 0_o. i might go with the m1210 since it does have a rotating camera but the only thing that im afraid of is its screen size. if only theres a place near where i live where i can get my hands on one to see if i can deal with it.
