No, I am just a potential buyer and enthusiast..... so I am not bound by any NDA's. I know there are resellers bound by such, but apparently this does not apply to certain ASUS members, LOL! :D

I do not believe the retailer ships overseas. :)

Thanks Kevin_Jack2.0, it certainly was not my intent to mislead, and your clarification is appreciated. I was hoping for some of the custom resellers to come forward. I know NDA's are a problem, but it would at least be nice to know the possibilities, LOL! :D

Hopefully we shall all know soon! :)

Well, I think the release will be soon! :D

Daily I have been monitoring the ASUS Support page, watching for W90Vp downloads. Just today, 32 downloads appeared for 64-bit, and 35 downloads appeared for 32-bit.

PLUS..... not only did the W90Vp-X1 appear on ASUS's FEB Sales Sheet, I have just been informed by another great NBR member, that the W90Vp-X1 now appears on a certain retailer's 'ACTIVE' sales list! :D

FEELS LIKE IT's GONNA BE SOON FOLKS! (I hope) CAN'T WAIT! :)

yep, three fans are always better than one, or two (like in the W840/M17). I must admit, I am pretty impressed with Asus. I was disappointed in the G71v when it didn't come with SLi, but I guess this makes up for it. Too bad I'm already attached to my W840.

:), is that the exclusive introductory price?

if this laptop truly is $2000, I'm sure it will beat any competitor out there easily.
    btw, what's the difference between a 4870 CrossFireX and a 4870x2?

If we are talking the Mobility ATI HD 4870, it's simply two cards paired in CrossFire.

With the desktop versions however, you have the ATI HD 4870 (single GPU per card), and the ATI HD 4870X2 (two GPU's on a single card). Be it the single or dual GPU cards, pairing or linking two of these cards has been dubbed CrossFire by ATI..... similar to nVidia's SLI terminology. :)
