GentechPC is a very reputable dealer. I ordered my laptop from them two years ago with zero problems, Ken was very friendly and helpful whenever I had any questions.

Also, Ken, who works at GentechPC is a forum regular.

    Here is his profile:

In other words, don't worry about ordering from GentechPC, they are a very reputable dealer.

I find that a pretty nice deal and suggest getting it if you can; it has a good specs though the gpu is the equivalent of the ddr 8600m GT (if that means anything to you or if youre a gamer).

And yes gentech pc is reputable.

Yeah just look around in the forums, I doubt you will find much negative stuff on that seller. I also bought my barebones from them and have had no complaints about them.

14.1 inches is referring to the screen size. The G1S has a bigger 15.4 inch screen. I don't see how a notebook would be better or worse depending on its screen size, it really just depends on what size notebook you want.

:yeahthat: They've been in business since around 2000, were a really big seller at the beginning, dropped off quite a lot, and have since recovered some. The most important thing about them is that they continue to support their products and provide service to their customers. Several other resellers, such as MilestonePC and c9tech, just dropped their customers and stopped supporting them at all. GenTech seems to have been reliable to their customers and as such, they're worth buying from.

I can attest 100% to GentechPC and Ken who works there. I spent about $1800 with them about 6 months ago and never regretted it. Ken has been awesome and gone out of his way multiple times to help me when I needed to RMA my C90S with Asus.

    Go for it man!

I bought my F8SN from ExcaliburPC, he wrote a nice review for the F8SV. He was very nice and helpful and I would do business with him again. Awesome dealer!

uh, im pretty sure ken works for gentech not excaliburPC. I might be wrong but from waht i know he does not work for gentech. The deal looks awesome and if I had the money, I would get it. With regards to performance, It would be better because you have the same card as the G1S (im guessing the 9500 is around the same) but on a smaller screen (14.1 instead of 15.4) which means that the card has to fill less space resulting in faster performance of the card thus better gaming.
