Ok its gotta be this install of windows. First I get it so my 3dmark06 actually hit above 3900. yes, its ONLY a benchmark. But I have an issue with harddrive constantly being accessed. and another with my mouse pad not remembering settings.

Now I ran World In Conflict. I ran the benchmark in the game. Kept it at 1680x1050 and "low" for details. My Asus G1 (2GB ram, 2.0Ghz dual,7700 vid card) ran it at 37fps average/14fps slowest/107 fastest. My G1s-B1 (3GB ram, 2.4Ghz dual, 6800GT 256 ddr3,1gb ramboost) ran it at 28fps average/7fps slowest/120 fastest. Big difference.

    here:
    G1 3dmark 06 G1s-B1 3dmark 06
    3dmark06 score: 2313 3dmark06 score:3907
    sm2.0 Score: 912 sm2.0 Score: 1590
    HDR/sm3.0:807 HDR/sm3.0: 1415
CPU score: 1628 CPU score: 2024

Anybody else had this issue before? Weird

And yes. Its in High performance mode, and now that I watch the demo again, its skipping... only thing I did was go from 165 driver to the 163.44 driver.

Also this game, the directX10 drivers are only run at "very high" the rest runs at directx9 for any settings below.

I heard Turbo Memory can do this kind of crap.

    It's really strange though.

DX10 only works for very high for you? I know I played Medium w/ bloom and many effects on DX10 in the Open Beta.

Well when I flicked it to medium it said something about turning off directx10 and to reboot the game. I suppose I can go back and enable it but I was just keeping things simple by just using the generic graphics tab.
I tried and turned off the turbo memory, but that did nothing.

    oh that,

you have to enable it youself in advanced settings....

I never use pre-set. If you GPU can max it but not CPU, I put GPU things to max and lower the cpu ones ect...

Wait, what are you walking about? I was talking about in the game setting. Just below the screen resolution.

So anybody else out there know why my games seem to be working slower on this newer system?
