Now I've focused on ASUS F3sv-A1, but it only has 1 gig. If I add another 1 gig by myself, can I still qualify for the 2 year global warranty since I disassemble the notebook by myself? Anyone konow this? I'm in U.S.

You wont void the warranty by doing a RAM upgrade (provided you dont screw up any other parts in the process eg.. remove the graphics card by mistake thinking its RAM :p )
