about the air coolers... have you been using the right kind?

some PULL air away from the bottom of the laptop... other's PUSH air into the bottom. if you got the one that PULLs air, then you got the wrong one for the G50Vt.

The G50Vt's internal fan pulls air from the bottom and pushes it out the side, so if you have a cooler that pulls air, then they're both fighting each other.

I've seen some topics about coolers that push air into the wrong part of the base.

Basically, flip over the laptop and you'll see a bunch of slot, air vents. you want a cooler that blows into those areas. ClutchX2 did a review on a ZM-NC2000. Though at $50-$70, it might be more than you were expecting to pay.

as for Win7... I've been using RC1 version of Win7... and I like it. I like it more than Vista, which I like more than XP. But if you hate Vista... you're mileage may vary.

If you just gaming at your home, a custom cooler is the best for G50Vt. I made one, and was happy with it.
