as the title asks, what do you use to carry your most prized possession?
i find that the bag that came with it is a little too small to use if im going to use it at university with the lappy in it.

so im looking into the dakine campus or a heys epac

I use what's pictured in my avatar. A messenger bag, because it's large enough to carry a couple books along with the laptop. When i use a backpack I end up carry it on one shoulder anyway. Some messenger bags, like this one have excellent padding on the shoulder strap.
I gave the G1s backpack to my 5th grader. He thinks he has the coolest one in his class, and I think it's more like the coolest in his school :) Very nice, but small interior space for adults going to college. Perfect for him, though.

Lol I'm dreading using the included backpack for my school. Not quite sure the amount of books/notes I'll need. It's a computer/technology school and hopefully the majority of material will be electronic (e-book, etc).

I use the bag that came with my G1s. But, I'm going to university in a few weeks and I think I'm going to buy a messenger bag so that I can carry some books as well.

The backpack that came with my G1S had a separated zipper out of the box. Of course Asus won't replace it since it was a "free gift". So, I too am on the hunt for a bag to carry my baby. I used an Ogio messenger bag for my last trip but really want a backpack.

if anyone wants to get rid of their G1 bag PM me.

Hi Stella - Yes, that's Abbi New York. Such fun colors in that line that it makes it hard to decide which to buy. The bag feels like a good quality to me and the laptop is really protected well inside. I will buy another if they make a deep red or dark plum in an Asian silk brocade like my blue one.
Your Monaco case is really sharp and classic. It looks to be extremely well made. Now I want one of those, too. I bookmarked the link! ~ Robin

I do really like it! I find the shorter straps are nice for maneuvering down airpline aisles. It is definitely well made. I actually got the handbag that matches too and it was nice because I could fit a full-sized book and paperwork into it along with everything I'd normally put in a purse.

Ooooo, I bet deep red or dark plum in that silk would be beautiful. I know I'm putting an Abbi bag on my birthday list :).
