It matters if just want the barebones or if you want it assembled.
    Barebones:
    MWave.com $580 cheapest I could find
    Assembled:
    1toppc.com
    geared2play.com/btotech.com
powernotebooks.com is cheap but you have to buy 3 year warantee

I would suggest rather than pinching every last penny, you look for someplace that has above average service and support. You'll thank for for this later. People just don't understand what a nightmare it is to deal with the vast majority of computer retailers and resellers out there. Paying an extra ~$50 or so dollars isn't really that much to protect a $1200+ investment. I say it is definately worth your money.

Geared2Play has some pretty good prices, and an excellent warranty. Z96J base price is $750. S96J has been changing, last I checked it was $620. You can save money by buying from G2P because you can buy a barebones from them and get parts at discounted prices from other places rather than paying what the reseller charges for parts. You can pinch pennies and still get a good warranty by doing what I did. Get a barebones from a reputable reseller with a good warranty, then find the other parts for the lowest prices possible, just make sure the cheap parts you buy come with decent manufacturer's warranties. Gotta love lifetime warranty on parts like RAM.
