    right now mys are 1995MHz
is it too slow? or should i turn it up a little but how? dont want to over heat the CPU. i got a fan ZALMAN 1000 it cool down like 10 degree. i turn my laptop on this morning with the fan on, and the temp ar like 35 degree. nice
but when i was playing online games usually the temp went up to 50 something

what do you guys think? Thanks

i idle around 48 - 50 celsius. Stock f3sv b1. no overclocking + no additional cooling. Just laptop and a plain wooden desk.

That seems like a funny question. 1995Mhz = 2.0Ghz You can't make this processor run any faster without overclocking.

What are you running to check temperatures?
I think those tempertatures are relatively low, and you should be happy. My systems max out at 65-75 degrees, so having a 50 degree max load during gaming is amazingly low. It's actually to a level where it's too good to be true, try running RMClock or Speedfan to check temps and use wPrime or SP2004 Orthos to max out your CPU usage to check proper max load temperatures.

OP: Please, make sure that you are running a profile that speedsteps the CPU speed... don't kill your CPU by unnecessarily pushing it at top speed all the time without any point.

I'm using the "Notebook Hardware Control" to check my temp

Notebook Hardware Control does not work properly in Vista, the project seems to be abandoned or just very slow on a new release. Infact, there are major bugs that are not fixed within the release causing SpeedStep to not work properly and forces the CPU to work at maximum speed constantly; ie 1995Mhz.

I suggest switching to RMClock as it can modify your power plans, VID selection, as well as undervolting for proper CPU throttling.

LOL I assumed Vista since it was in your signature. NHC should work fine in XP.

Did you end up following my directions to find your max temperatures for your F3? I highly suggest it, and anything below 75 degrees is normal so don't freak out when you see those temps.

Make sure you run with "Small FTTs"(for CPU max load) under the "Test:" dropdown selection before you hit Start.

Uh.. wasn't the point to check temps instead of frequencies? 1995 is basically 2GHz, I'm pretty sure the 5MHz falls within the measurement noise / approximation error.
