i see that this resolution is offered on a number of asus laptops; im looking at one with a 14.1" screen now. will 1366x768 look decent on it? up to what size will this resolution look alright?

also, on a completely different note: for the asus laptops that are installed with the 32bit vista but have 4gb of ram, if i eventually put in a 64bit os, the last gb will be recognized, correct?

    1. 1366x768 looks fairly good on my 15.6 inch G51 but no way would I recommend it past that. It should look great on a 14.1 incher.

    2. 64 bit os would recognize 4gigs.

thats entirely up to you whether it looks good or not. You can test it on a desktop by setting the resolution to 1280*768 and see how it looks then imagine it at a 14inch level.

its rare to see a laptop that has 32bit installed and 4gb of ram installed but yes as soon as 64bit is installed it will see the 4th gig.

If you set a regular say a 17 inch screen that has a native reso of 1680x1200 down to 1280x720, it will look flushed out and pretty horrid. Don't compare like that, just walk into a bestbuy and look at the laptops with a 1366x768.
