Does anyone know when the new lambo is coming out for asus? and what are some guesses on the specs, and 8800 GPU, SSD,2.6GHZ, better batt. life, etc? I really want to get one for summer next year before i head off to university. Also, if any owners of the VX2S read this, how do you feel that laptop is doing you, and is the GPU or the overall comp. better than the G1S, same or worse. Final question, if I sell my G1S this coming summer, can anyone guess how much I could sell it for?

    thanks,

well it has not been annnounced, but don't they come out with new models every year? Supposedly a new G1 is coming out so shouldn't the VX2 come out too?

Well if it hasn't been announced I wouldn't hold my breath. Maybe sales didn't go too well -- or they decided it wasn't worth it changing production lines for such a small # of machines.

It's true.. the Asus Lambo wasn't exactly a "best seller"... It's possible a new one may come out, but I don't see one coming out anytime soon.

Well I'm not surprised. It was always more or less a souped-up version of another model. Souping it up probably resulted in high temps... early breakdowns... Plus the gaudy looks didn't help.

You could always get a notebook which would perform as well, for nearly half the price, and which looked so much more classy and business-like (e.g., the V6J instead of the Lambo#1, the V1S instead of the Lambo#2).

well the thing is, I want to get a laptop that looks pretty cool or slick, but not too much gamers (like the G1S). I also want it to come with a lot of cool extras such as the leather case, mousepad, etc. of the asus lambo. And it also has to be the top of the line at that time (next summer).
On another note, can anyone estimate the value of the G1S for next summer? I'm planning to sell it on ebay or at another website or any place anyone can recommend that would give me the best price
