    hello everyone,

a month ago i bought ian Asus g51 in Bestbuy in USA and then took it to Europe. 2 months later something went wrong and i had strange artifacts on my screen.
i took the laptop to a service and they told me that the graphics card's chipset is not working and that they will search in europe for a replacement. however they did couldnot find the chipset and they told me that it will be necessary to change the whole graphics card. on top of that they said that they dont know where to get the card from, so basically they cant do anything with me laptop

i have a question to ask where can i repair my asus g51-rx05? should i ship the notebook to USA (note that my warranty is void) and repair it there.

By taking it to service, I'll assume you took it to a computer shop and not to an Asus repair facility?

Call Asus international support. There should be an European number, and or European Country number for Asus support.
