    where is Driver for 9650M GT?

    my notebook is ASUS X57VN with 9650M GT.
    but ich cann't find good Driver for that. the Driver 176.28 from ASUS ist very bad for 9650M GT(3dmark 05 only 4500points)
    anybody can help me? :D

    thats bizarre.

    Have you checked your gpu temp, maybe its overheating?

    it may be a heat issue. Is your laptop well ventilated?
    I would check the gpu temps to see how hot its running.

    try 175.xxx drivers.
    I think those were stated to provide the best performance for Nvidia mobile chips.

    Also ... overheating (while possible) seems a bit unlikely given the fact 9650M GT has a smaller manufacturing process while being faster and consuming same amount of power like 9600M GT.

    Do check the temperatures to make sure though.
    Also, when you're using the laptop, how is it positioned?
    I wouldn't keep it in my lap or directly on the bed blanket.
    I'd put a relatively large book beneath the laptop to keep the air circulation flowing without interruption.

    Of course it all depends on the design of the cooling system for the particular notebook. And on the amount of dust in the system. :)
