    Perhaps ask them?

I would assume it's either at the bottom of the notebook or on the side of the box of the notebook's box.

    What is a "UPC number"?

If you mean the serial number that is on the bottom of the notebook on a white sticker with a barcode. On the same sticker the warranty period is mentioned (usually like this: "WARRANTY: 24M"). The serial number is a 12-characters alphanumeric string.

UPC code is on the box that your laptop came package and wrapped in from Asus. There should have been a box that contained two smaller boxes inside. That big box should have the serial and UPC code on them, on a white sticker. It should be all around the box on all four large sides.
