lol
hello asus users. kinda weird seeing a toshiba/compaq guy in here isnt it? anyways a friend of mine owns a w5a and her battery is only lasting 1 hour on a full charge... needless to say she needs a new battery.
i was just wondering where i can locally (or online) get a replacement battery, from a reputable place of course.
i tried the estore for asus but i couldnt find her specific battery: 70-NA12B2000
anyways,
thanks in advance!

I can't help you with that part number, and I can only assume it may be a small 3 cell - if you got it in the US my assumption would be wrong. There are 6 batteries for the W5 series on a whole and 4 that would be sold in North America.... depending on the color of your model (white or black), you options become only 2 - a 6 or 9 cell....... a 3 cell sits flush with the back of the unit, a 6 cell sticks out about a 1/2", and a 9 cell sticks out about 1"... Here's a link to our batteries, hopefully you find what you need or want..... but all of these will physically work with your W5a:
