Well, no one can really say without bias. At some places, its very cheap, but do you sacrifice support? Also vice versa, it may be higher in price, but do you think you will need the support, etc.?

I ordered mine from powernotebooks.com. Although I did not get it yet, but my experiance with first laptop purchase from them was phenomenal.

They have 24/7 technical support, which I think is great.

Check resellerratings.com to see which reseller you prefer!

I would suggest either proportable.com or geared2play.com there are other good ones but those are my favorites.

You should probably narrow your search to the Platinum or Platinum Plus group of resellers in the FAQ here http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=25849#Buying

Another one that folks have had great things to say about, that isn't there, is c9tech.com.

As coriolis said, everyone is going to be biased toward the particular reseller they purchased from (mine was Geared2play). Resellerratings is a good place to start your research.

Edit: oops, forgot MilestonePC (Canadasys) for those north of the border, based on posts/info here. Don't know much about other Canadian resellers, but others will.

If you're canadian, your choices are basically NCIX, MilestonePc, or lucomputers or pccanada.

i recomend choosing about 5 to look at and examining them. not choosing just one.

the owners of proportable powernotebooks and geared2play and milestonepc.com seem to lurk in this forum. c9tech and gentech owners seem to lurk in the asus forum at notebookforums.com

there is also ibuypower and cyberpower.com and portableone.com newegg.com for some models

i dont really want to add some sort of science to the non scientific because truly reseller ratings dont mean a lot. just give you a good or bad feeling is all it should do ok.

however powernotebooks.com is the highest rated business on reseller ratings. of anything. so while I dont recomend any one, i recomend you look there to compare regardless.

ibuypower and cyberpower seem to be the same company, and i would not recommend them. i have heard bad things about those two and they do not have great reseller ratings (ibuypower has a 7, but is five or less than in every category except pricing, while cyberpower has a 6 but doesn't score anything higher than 5.52 except pricing as well...).

they arent exactly the same company no.

they are different although they do use the same website design, carry some of the same products and are in the la area.

theres a 3rd company also I forget what it is, same story.

the three companies have something in common but are different owners different tech people different policies. the third company has a strong connection to cyberpower like its a subcontracter, and only sells laptops... but ibuypower is totally seperate.

i recomend shopping all of them and considering what they all have to offer.

if you can get it from a mom and pop scale reseller for similar you are better off. the owner actually has time to give you satisfaction. if you can save money getting it somewhere else youre better off too, you have money! find the best price, and then bring it back to the best seller. thats what i recomend you do.

We do, just have to e-mail us for pricing info.
We're still updating our site, but once that's done we'll have that up.
    Thanks!
