    which way do i press the ram 'lever'?

    hi... im trying to upgrade the ram on my a8js.... but i don't know how to pop the ram slot out to let me insert the ram... i know u have to press the metal levers at the side..but which direction? they dont seem to move whichever direction i press them :confused:

    You pull them outward from the ram chips. Not up, not down, just out and away from the chips. Shouldn't take any force, so don't break them.

    In a related question: will these sticks work for my A8JP (now with 2x 512mb sticks in both slots)?
    Also if I want to sell my old 512mb sticks, besides ebay, where else is a good place to get rid of them (and how much should I ask for?) Gracias.

    Yeap, you gently push the red clips, and the RAM will pop out at a 45 degree angle. To put RAM back in, you place it in at the same 45 degree angle, and press down til the clips lock on.

    Lol, sorry but the black arrows don't even make sense. Yes you push in the same plane as the ram is in. (but no inwards heh).

    lol..no one told me if there's no ram in it, u dont have to pop the lever... i spend some time thinking that the slot was in a 'shut ' position so twisting the lever would raise it so that i can put the ram in... well do i feel stupid now :p
