Okay, how long was it before you pulled off all the stickers - ATI, Intel Inside, Designed for Win XP, etc. off the top of your Asus?

Did you have a tiny twinge of doubt as you did it?
    Admit it... did you?

I've been picking away at the various stickers since I got m V6V, and today - the last one - the "Intel Inside" finally ceased to fight and came off.

Man, the computer looks soooo much more bad ass without the stickers. Just like the flash demo at Asus.com :p

    Geek out.

I swear the right palm area seems to be running cooler too... could those stickers have absorbed all the heat?

    Just a joke.

LOL...it took me about 6 months to rip the stickers off.
And yes, I did have a "twinge of doubt" as I did.

Now my M6Ne looks nice and sleek... :asus:

I have to admit, since I have extra stickers if I needed them.... they always come off... but I'm a minimalist at heart anyway..... I HATE it when people leave stickers on anything.... people leave them on because to them they think people who see them will always think it's new and they'll see all the "features"...... I know no one in here would leave the "features" stickers on the computers.... but I know people who do and they get gross after a while and ... ewww... that's just one of those things that creeps me out....

Sorry for the rant... I thought it was called for though :)

The metal stickers are ok in my book, but the large plastic ones aren't. They are so yesterday :p

My friend's old Toshiba Satellite is covered with stickers(random stickers, from Hello Kitty to Mickey Mouse to I <3 NY) from the lid, the front, the kayboard layout, and even the bezel. I need to get a picture of it...

And he's sane enough to use it outdoors too.

Rubbing alcohol and cotton swabs work well to get off the excess glue that always gets left behind. Second thing I did was removing stickers on my T42. First being booting it up and checking for dead pixels.
