Hi guys and girls, I just bought the F3JP (on advice found here) and love it so far.
The thing is, the scrolling function doesn't seem to work all the time. It works in vista scrollable windows (excel, text documents, etc.), but doesn't work on any internet page (I use explorer), not google, not here, not anywhere. I checked the "synaptics pointing device" and everything seems fine.
Could it be compatibility issues with explorer?
    Thanks for any help

Grab the latest Synaptics drivers from their site.

Updated driver, but it still doesn't work.
This is frustrating, I usually use the sroll feature, as it's much easier than the arrows' functionality.
It's got to be software, the test in synatics' settings box fully recognizes my finger on the scrolling part of the trackpad, and knows i want to scroll, but it just doesn't do it on internet pages.
    More help needed please!

OK, so I figured it out (partially). It seems that if I open explorer from the icon tray, scrolling works. BUT, if I use the quicklaunch button, scrolling is disabled.
The question i have now is: why? and how do i fix the quicklaunch to open a scrolling enabled internet window? I can live with this bug, but the button is there for a reason.
Both IE's are the same version, but the quicklaunch IE and icon tray IE have their own distinct history and favorites, and a settings change in one will not affect the other's settings. I don't get it.
    Thanks for any help.

I'm not sure, but perhaps if you make FF your default browser, the quickkeys change itself?

If not, I know there are modified drivers to change that. I checked my quickkeys, it opens a FF window. And I don't recall myself changing it.....

    Thanks, I'll try
    Note: Acceleration coriolis (i/j)= 2*omega(j) X V(i/j)
...but I bet you already knew that.
Man, I'm studying that as we speak (my final exam is on thursday)

nikolas4129: Important thing is that the focus is on the right window pane. Maybe your scrolling area isn't wide enough? Or maybe there the acceleration or touch sensitivity is off?

coriolis: Heh, too much poking from Lucky Star going on there...
