has anyone ever tried this program called wiinremote on the g1s? i can connect my wii remote, and the software is "active", but it cannot sense anything from the remote. does anyone else have this working? its pretty cool because the software has ir support for the wii remote, so you could have a nice media center experience.

under preferences, did you set the cursor to motion sensor? I don't think the G1S has an IR port, so you could not use the IR sensor on the Wiimote to control the cursor.

I don't really think that's necessary. The Wii doesn't use IR like other devices. It's nothing more then lights the Wiimote can lock into, no data is sent between the Wii and Wiimote via IR though. That's why some people have managed to use candles lol.

As long as you have the sensor turned on, and bluetooth communication between the G1s + Wiimote, it should work.

the thing is, it cant even detect the accelerometers, even though the bluetooth seems to have connected

ive tried that glovepie software as well, and same issues. are the g1s bluetooth drivers no good for the wiimote? anyone else tried this?
