The title says it all. Im looking for someone with a similiar laptop as mine, who's having a successful time installing and using windows 7. I am just on the boarderline to go for it myself, but I really need someone to persuade me or at least talk me out of it C:

    Thanks.

    Phil

OK Phil, I have installed Windows 7 on my old M50 IBM Thinkcentre 3Ghz P4 desktop with 2Gig of DDR Ram and it runs and works like a charm.
Your "modern" laptop should eat Win7 for breakfast.
Drivers are no problem, even for my "old girl" as Win 7 has a great search and install fascillity that Vista does not have.
Any "glitches" have been fixed by subsequent automatic upgrades from Microsoft so I would have no hesitation in saying, go for it.

    Cheers
