hello, i´m not sure if i should better post it here or in the win7 section but i felt like i would try it here first:
i use the dox 185.85 on my g50vt-a1 with win7 x64 and when playing mass effect2 , the nvidia driver crashes like every 10 minutes after playing for while.
i get the "display driver has stopped working" msg all the time. Also with other games i have that from time to time (but not rly often.. so i never cared). any idea why this happens and which drive i should use?
propably some original nvidia driver?
i´m not overclocking at all and on vista i always used the 182.50. it had the best 3dmark06 results and was stable unlike the never dox drivers.
thanks

Well you could use the ASUS driver (support.asus.com), but they don't update those very often so there will probably be a performance hit. Not sure how large.
The gamers around here might give you better advice. -
Use the nvidia 186.82 until the 19* series from nvidia get less buggy. Therefore dox can get back to making a great driver.

dox already made a 195.62 driver... is it still worse than the 186.62 ?
thanks
@edit:
dox185.85:
stock 186.81:
so the dox one gives 500points more... but i will test in an hour or so if the stock driver is more stable.. -
I know dox did make new driver, but im saying its on nvidias part thats buggy not dox's part

win7 best nvidia driver (g50vt-a1), dox = display driver has stopped working
