does anyone even use it anymore? or are there better sync solutions out there.

EDIT: yea, I didn't realize until after it got posted. I was in the hardware section deading up on bags and i thought I was still in that forum but I also had asus forums open on another tab. Blame firefox's multiple tabs [ :D]

SO yea, if someone wants to move this topic, thanks! Other than that I do agree offline synch is much more robust but I like the drag and drop simplicity better than file settings.

Offline Files and Folders. My Computer -> Tools -> Folder Options.

Sadly disabeled in XP Home as this really doesn't qualify as a 'PRO' feature, IMO.

(Not really Asus related though? Sorry for the off-topic.)

yeah you may do better with this post in the general software section, as it isn't really limited to asus, thus answers to this question maybe lite on.
I have never used briefcase, do all my backup manually, its abit slower but I now that its all good, when I'm done.

me too... i made a batch file that checks the archive bit on my files, and periodically i manually tell it to do a full backup (for a perfect synch, without extra files).

just never had time to explore briefcase... so i made something is is predicatable, i know the implementation, and thus i know my files are being backed up properly to my network drive.

if you find anything interesting about briefcase though, let us know.
