    What is the better choice if you had the option to get a wireless card for the Asus A25 model.

    External card or a internal miniPCI card?
    Does any1 know how the miniPCI card work?
    i.e How do you turn off and on the wireless?

    I have PCMCIA wireless, if you just disable network connection card is turned off, can be seen by activity LEDs.

    hi,
    When you mean disable is that via software and program.
    Cos wit minipci wirlesss it goes underneath the keyboard.
    so i was just wondering how it works. does it activate by control panel option. cos wit minipci you cant just unplug it like an extrnal wireless card.

    I just select "disable" option from Start/Settings/Network Connections/Wireless... So it's from software, I don't take PCMCIA card out. I know it's turned off because 2 activity LEDs are turned off.
