i've found that in Romania they're selling asus laptops through official dealers without operating system.
it is this a practice from Asus ?

Contact ASUS Romania and ask them. Also in Romania do other ASUS laptops from another retailer come with XP? or do they all have no OS with them?

So check all of that out.

    Thanks,

Maybe thet just don't install the supplied OS if they change something to the specs. I ordered my w2j with an HD-upgrade so windows wasn't installed.
Are the models without OS cheaper? Maybe they're just taking the CD's out of your box to make you pay double for it :)

With regard to included OS, I think that is different from one country to another.
Also here in Indonesia there are many models that come without any OS. Mind you, Asus only sells ensemble models here. Whitebox is not known to Indonesia.
