I just want to tell my negative impressions of the warrenty contract of ASUS.
After about 3 month, my new ASUS notebook broke donw. After that I send in on (about) the 30th of May (2014) to ASUS, and hoped they would repair it. Some weeks later they told me, that they won't be able to repair (or otherwise I should wait "a long time"). And they won't send me an other notebook. So I can chose between money back or money back. So at least I decided to get my money back - I thougt. I send the nessecary documents to ASUS... and waited... and waited.. an get another e-mail... (weeks later)... that they forwarded my documents to another section of ASUS... and now I should wait at about 30 days to get my money back...
Till now I'm waiting over 2 month... and hopefully - if they don't get some new problems - I will get my money after the 30 days they told me... in about 3 weeks... asking ASUS means always the same reply "we say sorry for the inconvenience, please have patience"...
So for me... there won't be any ASUS-product again in my life... I really hope other companys do have better service... so if someone knew, you are free to post... maybe I can use it when I buy a new notebook... after I get my money back... soon (?)...
And sorry if my english isn't the best... I'm from germany, (and I don't know if the service of ASUS is better in other countries)... I just felt that I should tell the world about the (in my opinion) worse service... and because you feel so powerlessly if a big company like ASUS just tell you: "Yeah, nice notebook. It's ours. It's broken after 3 month. Yeah, of course you will get your money back. As soon as we want to give it to you. But please have patience."... the answer, the thought of 2 words... I won't tell![]()

This seems to be a common response to ASUS' customer service in Europe. I am a moderator over at an ASUS android and Windows tablet forum and we get testimonies like this all the time. However our users have also found that ASUS North America, especially their phone service (never communicate through email we are almost sure it is a robot) is excellent. My RMA was processed in a single day and sent back to me two days later.
Instead of contacting a general customer support system at this point, I would try Scott who is our ASUS customer loyalty representative over at transformerforums his email is [email protected]. explain the situation to him and he may be able to quickly get your money back at least.
Best of luck.
worse ASUS warrenty - they keep my money over months...
