When I bought my x205ta in Dec. 2014 it had the Asus version of windows 8.1 installed on it. To get rid of bloat I installed a legal/legit fresh install of windows 8.1 and later upgraded to windows 10. Having been on windows 10 for about 6 months now it has been great, until recently.

I logged in one day and went to uninstall a program and noticed my programs list in the add/remove programs was huge. Previously it had maybe a dozen items but now has nearly 3 dozen items which are mainly Asus and Microsoft apps. It appears an update of some sort brought back many apps that were once deleted or never there after my fresh install. Some of these apps I was able to uninstall, others the uninstall button is grayed out and I cannot remove it from the menu. Almost like they are phantom apps. Anyone ever see this happen and/or have any suggestions on how to remove these? Or how to prevent them from coming back again?

Also, my computer previously would easily connect to my phones hotspot but is no longer connecting. It has no trouble with my home wifi but the hotspots on 3 different phones all won't connect now. I've tried updating the wireless driver with no luck.

    Any help is appreciated.
