hello there. I got Asus x550LD laptop here. The problem is with touchpad. Left lower corner is pushed in (sinking) like there is 1mm+ gap and the right lower corner is keeps poping out, it can be pushed in back gently but after a few seconds it goes up again. Anyone has this same problem and know how to fix it? Tried googling but found nothing for this model and no real solution for other. The touchpad is working fine however. But it is very eye catching in a bad way :)

Hello and Welcome to our forums

First of all, is your device under warranty? Besides your dealer warranty, Asus has an international warranty as well which I think will work as well.

I am telling you this because any modifications to your laptop may void your warranty.

Yes, I am aware of that. But I just want to know if there are any solutions without taking it to warranty service

Possibly, but if the problem isn't widespread, you're unlikely to find advice based on firsthand accounts. The touchpad is part of the entire top assembly as one piece, so I'm afraid you going to much length to troubleshoot might involve you opening the laptop. Since doing so would risk your warranty, I think having Asus' warranty center handle it would be best (I realize that's not what you want to hear and that doing so might be a pain, to say the least).

Best of luck to you, matuze. :)
