    Hi,

Ive enjoyed my z35f now for a few months, but there seems to be one problem. If they laptop is stationary there is no problems, but when I pack it up and power it on at a later time it wont power up, unless I hook the power adapter to it. Is there any fix to this? Or will I have to get a new battery? Its quite a problem at times because I have to carry the charger with me everywhere I go.

Hmmm, it doesn't look like a faulty battery.

See if Windows detects the battery at all, or use NHC/Everest to see if it detects the battery. It could be a faulty contact or wiring to the battery.

I had a friend with the same problem on her z35f. Try flashing the bios with the newest version.

Yup. It's the BIOS. I had the exact problem with my z35f. A BIOS upgrade fixed me right up.

A lot of Core Duo and Core 2 Duo systems do that, it's the CPU switching P-states or something.

My Z33 does it at some frequency/voltage combinations as well...
