    I'm sure I read this before but I couldn't find it in the forum search

    The z62a has the swappable cd drive
    The z62f doesn't

    Will the z62j?

    number confused... i guess i was looking at the z61a that has the traveler's drawer, does it have a successor in core duo?

    Z61a (M3a) - modular bay; 915 chipset; retired - no 945 version in US

    Z63a (W3a) - modular bay; 915 chipset; no 945 update except for really the W3j

    Z62f - fixed optical drive; 945 chipset

    Z62j - dedicated graphics version of Z62f (ETA May)... spec fixed drive.
