    Hi there,

I just got a z70va...really like it on the whole and I haven't even played a game on it yet.

Is there a driver and device profile for the lcd? THe reason I ask is because I feel the color profile of the lcd is not quite right. I have the same "neon filament" background on my home, office, and laptop and the filament appears more red on my home system (a dell 2001fp) and office system (viewsonic PS790) and more purple on my z70va...the difference is significant.

Both my desktop systems have a driver / color profile for the screen whereas my z70va is using the generic windows driver. I'm sure a specfic driver / color profile for the lcd will do the trick.

Any and all help is appreciated.

get the mobility catalyst 5.10 drivers; they have color/gamma correction built into Catalyst Control Center (driver configuration tool).

I have the latest drivers and catalyst control center...the control center options do not seem to adequately address this issue.

and why isn't it adequate? you can control the brightness, gamma, and contrast of each red, green, blue channel as well as all the channels locked in their respective position. this should be more than enough for your color adjustment needs.

thanks for your input, flaxx...but I did spend about half an hour playing with adjustments and it still it not quite to my liking.

Maybe lcd driver/profile does not exist, maybe it would not help...I dunno, but I'd like to try it if to does.
