... are you getting kingston or infineon ram (there's a difference in cost there).... and are you getting a samsung or a fujitsu drive (both of those are low on my list... basically just above toshiba) ..... but have you just not decided or am I missing something?
BTW - Is that Jessica Alba I can't tell 100%... but regardless you should get rid of it because it's distracting... -
Pretty sure it is
Right now, 2gb RAM is overkill for most people.
I haven't felt the different between a 7200 and a 5400, so I can't say yet, but the 5400 vs 4200 is pretty significant in my books. -
no idea which brand the ram is because im getting it from geared2play... is it a good place to buy my laptop?

where else can i buy the z70va??
im willing to pay below 1700... this laptop is for college and im studying biology. -

If you wait a week or two, you should be able to get it from just about any Asus reseller. Currently, you can only purchase the non-bluetooth version from Geared2Play and preorder the bluetooth version from ISTNC & CanadaSys, to the best of my knowledge

Geared2play is a very reputable reseller...and so is CanadaSys (if you're in Canada).
I don't think you'll have much a of problem finding good resellers for the ASUS Z70Va...this forum has several of them posting -
I don't think I saw the Hyori Lee avatar, who is she?
Oh, back on topic, if you can wait, as AuroraS mentioned, there will be more resellers coming out with the refresh.
And if you are studying, why do you need the x700? -
