installed call of duty 2 demo (new fps game) ran great at native res this afternoon. Came home and tonight tried it again and it reboots the computer when I get into the game. Any suggestions or ideas? Is it overheating? try different drivers? im using catalyst 5.9. It's just odd that it ran fine earlier and now having problems...
    -thanks in advance

UPDATE: After many reboots/freezes/reinstalled the game...made sure my settings were exactly as they were the first time it worked and it worked again...weird...

UPDATE 2: just after typing update 1 I tried the game and it locked up the system yet again...I spoke too soon of course...

Just an FYI had a little time over the weekend and I resolved the issue with Call Of Duty 2 DEMO BSOD.
I used the driver off the Asus site suggested by Eddie from G2Play and Radlinker to O/C my vid card and it worked perfectly they are not as fast as the Cat 5.9 or 5.10 but they work on everthing Ive thrown at it including HL2 DOOM3 Madden-06 and Fear demo.

hope that helps all having issue with the demo.

I've had more issues with demo's of games than the actual games themselves.... it's not always the best way to test out a video card.

I agree however it was working perfect on my desktop which runs on an X800XT PE with no issue which concerned me a little.

So i set out to see if it was the notebook Z70VA after trying a few driver omega cat 5.9 5.10 decided to give the Asus a shot zero issue with the drivers off the site.

BTW does anyone know which Cat versions the Asus are can't seem to find the version numbers anywhere.
