I was reading Justin's post from proportable and I was suprised to read that the z92ja has been cancelled to North America. Is there a reason for this?
I have been researching laptops for about 4 months now and I thought this one seemed a good balance of Power with the x1600 for gaming and ability for long battery life with the integrated graphics option, and I planned on ordering one as soon as they became configurable on the internet...
Is this notebook cancelled for good or just postponed or what???
Thanks for reading!

It's been canceled for the N.A. market, as Justin mentioned. As for the reason? I think there was a post about it, I don't necessarily recall by who and what thread. Perhaps do a quick forum search

yep...... two reasons actually..
1. it's based on the A6
2. it doesn't comply with Intel's new initiative to make all the whitebooks have interchangable parts... like batteries, motherboards, etc...
But it's gone for good...... the "replacement" is inbetween the current Z70va and the Z92ja in terms of graphics performance......but we're going to have to wait at least a month to see how it sells. -
Hmm...interesting, Thanks for the reply you guys, so then would i be better off getting say a 17" version of the 92ja (A7j I think) that or go with a 15.4" z70va? I am going to be using it as a student but i still want the gaming power....I like the ability of the new ones to be able to turn off the dedicated card and run on integrated....
Is the 17" that much bulkier or cumbersome in comparison to the 15" Models? I dont want to be "Lugging" a laptop..... -

the 17" is like going on 9 pounds... where as something like the Z70va is 6.5 at the VERY most...
