    Hi guys,

Proud owner of a new zenbook ux430un(newest version with no throttling). Works a treat. But am wanting to upgrade the SD 500GB stock SSD with a samsung evo 960, to get much faster results. Went to buy the evo 960 and the person there spooked me. Told them my plan was to use clonezilla to boot from a USB and do a full image of the current SSD, swap the HD and boot from the USB and do a full restore of the image. She told me that as I am going from a SATA SSD to a NVME SSD that all sorted of issues will arise and it will not work... And that I am better off doing a manual installation of windows 10 again (which I have not got the time to do).

Any opinions on this? I have seen some people on this forum say "yeh i upgraded the SSD on my ux430un and life is good" :) But not how or if it was a clone or new setup from scratch.

    cheers.
